Already a customer? You're already a referrer.
Every workspace gets a referral code at signup. Share it. Earn 20% of every paid invoice your referrals generate for the first 12 months.
How it works
- 1
Your referral code already exists
Every Presentr workspace is issued a stable referral code at signup — a short string starting with r_. There's no opt-in flow. You're already in. Find yours at /dashboard/billing.
- 2
Share the link
Append ?ref=YOUR_CODE to any presentr.co.uk or app.presentr.co.uk URL. Drop it in a tweet, a podcast description, an email signature, your podcast bio, your community Slack — anywhere your audience hangs out.
- 3
We track for 60 days
When someone clicks your link we drop a 60-day cookie at the proxy layer. If they sign up for Presentr in that window, your workspace is recorded as the referrer.
- 4
You earn for 12 months
Every time the referred workspace pays a Stripe invoice — for the first 12 months of their subscription — we book you a commission worth 20% of that invoice. You see pending and paid totals on your billing page.
- 5
Manual payouts (for now)
We pay out via Bacs transfer once your earned commissions clear £50. Drop a note to leeroy@presentr.co.uk and we sort it. Stripe Connect auto-payouts are coming alongside the full affiliate program.
Your code is in your billing page.
Sign in, head to /dashboard/billing, and you'll see your referral URL plus pending and paid totals for any commissions you've earned.

The customer-side referral programme is meant for people already using Presentr who naturally end up recommending it — agency owners introducing it to clients, course creators sharing it with their community, consultants whose own audience asks "what tool are you running this on?". You don't need to apply, post on socials on a schedule, or join a Discord. Recommend it when it fits, get paid when someone signs up.
If you want to actively promote Presentr — a content-creator deal, an agency partner programme, an affiliate-marketer referral with a higher rate and a 90-day cookie — head over to the affiliate programme instead.
Common questions
- Do I need to be a customer to refer Presentr?
- The customer-side referral programme is automatic only for paid workspaces. If you want to promote Presentr without being a customer, the affiliate programme is the right path — application-gated, 90-day cookie, higher rate, more support.
- What counts as a referred sign-up?
- Any new workspace that signs up within 60 days of clicking a link with your ?ref=YOUR_CODE attached. Last-click attribution wins — if someone clicks two referrers' links, the most recent one earns.
- When does the 12-month clock start?
- At the referred workspace's first paid Stripe invoice. Trial sessions don't count, only the first month they're billed for.
- What about renewals or upgrades?
- Anything they pay Stripe for is in scope — monthly, annual, plan upgrades, attendee overages — for 12 months from their first paid invoice.
- What if someone churns and re-subscribes?
- The 12-month clock keeps running from the original first-paid date. We don't restart the meter, but we do honour commissions on any in-window invoices.
- When and how do I get paid?
- Once your pending balance clears £50, email leeroy@presentr.co.uk and we'll Bacs-transfer it. Bigger balances pay out faster — practically, we aim to clear anything outstanding within a month of you asking.
- Can I have multiple referral codes for different campaigns?
- Not yet. Each workspace has one stable code. Custom slugs (e.g. r_yournameshere) and per-campaign tracking are part of the affiliate programme rolling out in MVP 2.
- What about tax and self-billing?
- Commissions are paid as a sales referral fee. UK recipients: we'll send you a self-billing invoice each payout, on which you can recharge VAT if registered. Outside UK: payments are net of any UK withholding obligations, but you're responsible for declaring income locally. We'll send a written statement of payments at year end.
