Terms of using Presentr

Last updated 20 April 2026

Draft for review. These terms are a pre-launch placeholder and have not yet been reviewed by a solicitor. If you're relying on them for a meaningful commercial decision, please contact support@presentr.co.uk first.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a contract between you and Presentr Ltd (“Presentr”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the Presentr platform at presentr.co.uk and app.presentr.co.uk (the “Service”).

By creating a Presentr account, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. The Service

Presentr is a software-as-a-service platform for running automated webinars, including video hosting, attendee registration, live chat, interactions, analytics, and email delivery.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 to create an account.
  • You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us at security@presentr.co.uk immediately if your account is compromised.
  • You're responsible for the actions of everyone you invite to your workspace.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload or broadcast content that's illegal, defamatory, infringing, obscene, or promotes hate or violence.
  • Send unsolicited email (spam) through our email delivery infrastructure.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or to any other user's data.
  • Use the Service to collect personal data from attendees without a lawful basis under applicable data-protection law.
  • Resell, white-label, or sublicense the Service without our written consent.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. For serious violations we'll do so without notice.

4. Your content

You retain all ownership and intellectual-property rights in the content you upload to Presentr (videos, branding, email templates, registration data).

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, and deliver your content for the sole purpose of providing the Service.

You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to all content you upload — including videos, audio, images, and third-party quotes.

5. Attendee data

For data relating to people who register for your webinars, you are the data controller and we are the data processor. You must:

  • Have a lawful basis under UK GDPR / EU GDPR for collecting and processing that data.
  • Display a privacy notice on your registration page describing how you use the data.
  • Respond to attendee rights requests (access, erasure, etc.) promptly.

6. Plans, billing, and trials

  • Presentr is offered on monthly and annual subscription plans. Pricing is published at presentr.co.uk/#pricing.
  • New accounts include a 14-day free trial. After the trial you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service beyond trial limits.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from the Billing page — access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds: subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If we make a material breach of these Terms, you may request a pro-rata refund for unused time.
  • Prices shown are in GBP exclusive of VAT. VAT is added where applicable.

7. Fair use

Each plan has published usage limits (active webinars, monthly registrant cap). If you consistently exceed those limits, we'll reach out to discuss an appropriate plan upgrade. We won't suspend active webinars without notice.

8. Uptime and support

We target 99.5% monthly uptime for the Service but don't guarantee specific SLAs on standard plans. Status and incident history live at presentr.co.uk/status.

Support is via email at support@presentr.co.uk. Standard response within 2 business days (UK).

9. Intellectual property

Presentr retains all rights to the Service itself, its branding, source code, and documentation. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service except as allowed by these Terms.

10. Termination

You can cancel your subscription or delete your workspace at any time from the dashboard. Deletion is permanent and cascades to all webinars, registrants, and attendance records.

We may terminate your account with 30 days' notice for convenience, or immediately for serious breach of these Terms.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Presentr's total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages including lost profits, business interruption, or lost goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be excluded under UK law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We'll email active account holders at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled by the English courts.
