Draft for review. These terms are a pre-launch placeholder and have not yet been reviewed by a solicitor. If you're relying on them for a meaningful commercial decision, please contact support@presentr.co.uk first.

This Cookie Policy explains how Presentr Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on presentr.co.uk and app.presentr.co.uk.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let sites remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and measure usage. Similar technologies (local storage, session storage) work the same way for our purposes.

2. Cookies we set on presentr.co.uk

Our marketing site uses zerothird-party marketing or analytics cookies. We don't run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insights, or similar trackers.

Strictly necessary

  • presentr_ref — records the workspace code from a ?ref= referral link. 60-day expiry. Lets us credit a referrer if you eventually sign up. This is a legitimate-interest cookie under PECR; no consent needed.

3. Cookies we set on app.presentr.co.uk

The app domain uses strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to run the dashboard securely.

Strictly necessary

  • sb-*-auth-token — Supabase authentication session. Set only after you log in. Essential for the dashboard to work.
  • sb-*-refresh-token — lets us refresh your session without asking you to log in again on every page load.

All of the above are strictly necessary to provide the Service you signed up for. Under UK PECR regulation 6(4), strictly-necessary cookies don't require consent.

4. Third-party cookies

Some embedded services may set their own cookies when their content loads:

  • Stripe — sets cookies on checkout pages for fraud prevention.
  • Mux — may set video-playback cookies to optimise delivery.

These third parties have their own cookie policies. We don't control what they set.

5. Managing cookies

You can delete cookies or block them from your browser settings. If you block strictly-necessary cookies on app.presentr.co.uk you won't be able to sign in.

For general information about cookies and your rights, the ICO provides a good overview at ico.org.uk.

6. Changes

If we add new cookies — for example, if we later choose to use a privacy-friendly analytics tool — we'll update this page and show a consent banner where required by law.
